  • Be Worthy of Trust

Almighty God bless our nation and make it true to the ideas of freedom and justice and brotherhood for all who make it great. Guard us from untruths, fear and confusion. Give our President and statesmen vision and courage. Amen

Unless we can have confidence in the reliability of those around us, we ourselves are at risk.  Trustworthiness is a highly esteemed commodity. When a person has it, they are considered valuable.  When a person has lost it, that person may be considered worthless.  We must help others around us to demonstrate it and earn it. Keep your word once given. If we say we are going to do something, we should do it.  If we say we are not going to do something, we should not do it.

Our regard for one another is based, on whether or not we keep our word.  Those of us who break our word often never get another chance.  There is no more thorough self-exile from our friends than to fail to keep our promises once made.

The way to happiness is much, much easier to travel with people we can trust.
